From 2010 to 2018, we paid school fees to the only high school in Bakka, but students failed due to poor education and transient teachers. They asked Kisoboka to start a new high school. In 2019, Kisoboka opened with an expected 35 students but quickly exceeded capacity. During the COVID shutdown in 2020, we acquired a new campus and now have over 200 students, becoming one of the top schools in the area.
In 2023 we opened an Advanced High School, (similar to Community College). All of our students graduated and are going on to attend university, doctors, surgeons, lawyers, journalist and social workers.
Kisoboka High School is currently not registered with the Uganda Ministry of Education, requiring our students to take the UNEB exam at registered schools. This month-long exam is necessary for student graduation. We are working towards fulfilling all the requirements set by the Ministry of Education and need to acquire some equipment for the school.
